Day #1: Adventure at the Beach

The funny thing about today?  Our first stop is in Huntington Beach. Yet we live fairly close to some of the most beautiful beaches right in our back yard.  And yet, we never go there.

So the kids were more than thrilled to arrive at the beach, catch some rays and play in the sand.



Of course, ice cream from Baskin Robbins always helps.  And who doesn't love the sea and the sand and the sun shining on your face?

Diego: "Do you have mine?"

Me: "Yes."

Diego: "What's a toiletry bag anyway?"

Olivia to me while driving: "Mami, I need to change my shirt. I fell asleep for a little while and drooled all over myself."
