Truthfully, our current scenery does not measure up [in my humble opinion] to any of the above. We are currently driving through what is commonly called the heartland of the US. Or the mid-west. Or our agricultural homebase. Or I guess some people just refer to it as Nebraska. If you are a prairie lover, than this state has some qualities which will elevate it to the top of your list. While interesting in its own right, the scenery outside my window on our 500 mile drive today was the exact same mile after mile.
We are currently in a 3 day push to get to Michigan and start our time on the east coast. Tomorrow's agenda? Nebraska and then Iowa. I will hazard a guess and suggest that it might be more of the same.
Fun Facts From Today:
Number of times a child asked me "Are we there yet?" = 15
Miles driven today = 496
Number of wrong turns = 0
Number of states traversed or visited to date = 9
Total miles driven to date = 4,970
or some people call it "home" ;)
