Portland. I love you.

The kids awoke with a fair amount of excess energy.  So we decided to do this:

This is the kids' idea of heaven.

Having fun on the foam pit trampoline.

Diego in the foam pit after bouncing across the trampoline.

Ana, exhausted after attempting many back flips into the foam pit.

And then my friend Angela and her daughter Kaitlyn took us on a wonderful driving tour or Portland. There were so many wonderful overlooks of the Willlamette River all over the city. This city has so many divine things to see and do!  Since we only had the remainder of a day, we decided to head downtown and eat from the famous food trucks:

Eating Greek and Mexican food (not from the same cart).

Then we headed over to the Downtown Saturday Market and walked the booths, watched the people and did a little shopping [of course!]  Each of the girls decided to buy the most adorable hats:

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the flowers in Portland! Some of the most beautiful bushes and trees that I have ever seen. Just incredible.

These little treasures are literally all over the city.

Tomorrow's agenda? We are headed on our way to see an old friend [that if I remember correctly] I haven't seen since Ana was born. 10 years. She lives in IDAHO. Have you ever been there? Well, me neither! [okay....maybe once for her wedding, but that was so long ago, it doesn't count!].  Can't wait to see what tomorrow's drive and road trip brings.
